Operating excellence at the heart of our production model

Two locations, one coordinated industrial playbook

Although Wauters and B.Pack each retain their own identity and unique characteristics, the two sites now operate as a fully coordinated industrial network.
This set-up enables the Wauters Group to meet a wide range of needs: formats, production volumes, levels of technical complexity, and turnaround times. It also provides a dual safety net in terms of capacity for the luxury brands that entrust their projects to the Group.
Both sites therefore share the same commitment: to produce high-quality, made-in-France packaging for leading houses in the fragrance, cosmetics, wines, and spirits industries.

Recognised technical expertise

The Group’s industrial excellence is founded primarily on our high levels of technical expertise.
The Wauters site, in particular, is a certified Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living heritage) company – a distinction that recognises the excellence of French industrial expertise. This certification highlights our skills in technical crafts such as offset printing, gilding, and embossing, all key processes in the creation of exceptional cases and packaging.
Our mastery of these traditional forms of expertise enables us to meet the most demanding of our luxury clients’ requests: textures, material effects, unconventional technical solutions… Always custom-made.

Our commitments recognised by stringent certifications

The Group’s operating excellence is also underpinned by a set of certifications that guide its industrial and environmental practices.
The Group’s two locations are committed to several internationally recognised initiatives, in particular EcoVadis Platinum, FSC®, and Imprim’Vert, which attest to the rigour of the Group’s environmental, social, and ethical practices.
These certifications reflect our in-depth work across the entire production chain: material traceability, resource management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of our industrial practices.

Ongoing industrial investments

Operating excellence also relies on constant investments in industrial architecture.
In recent years, both sites have upgraded their equipment in order to improve both industrial performance and the environmental impact of production.
Recent developments include the incorporation of new coding and marking solutions, the roll-out of cold stamping procedures, and a switch to LED curing for some printing techniques, which reduces energy consumption while improving print accuracy.
These investments go hand in hand with other projects aiming to optimise production flows, standardising the offset process (PSO) implemented across both sites, managing materials, and reducing industrial waste.

Testing innovation prior to Group-wide roll-out

The Wauters Group fosters a pragmatic approach to industrial innovation.
When planning for new technology, processes, or machine upgrades, Wauters or B.Pack serves as a pilot location. Innovative solutions are tested, trialled and optimised before their gradual roll-out across the Group.
This method safeguards investments whilst accelerating the adoption of innovations most relevant to the Group’s activities.

Constant technological monitoring

In an industry where regulatory, environmental, and technical constraints are rapidly evolving, our Group’s teams are constantly studying emerging technologies.
Developments in inks, varnishes, and consumables, new regulations, machine innovations, and improved packaging recyclability are just some of the changes constantly being analysed in order to integrate solutions best suited to the requirements of luxury brands.

Industrial culture based on real-world conditions

Beyond tech and equipment, our operating excellence relies above all on our teams.
Executives, heads of production, industry experts, and technical teams work closely together across both sites to share their experience, compare their practices, and continuously improve their working methods.
This industrial culture, founded on rigorous standards, high expectations, and collaboration, enables the Group to maintain a high level of quality and reliability in every product it manufactures.

An industry focused on the future

In response to changes in the luxury sector and growing expectations of sustainability, agility, and performance, the Wauters Group is prioritising investment and development.
Technological innovation, environmental responsibility, and the ongoing development of team skills: the Group’s operating excellence is underpinned by its ability to continuously adapt while remaining true to its high industrial standards.

It is this combination of expertise, innovation, and operating standards that allows the Wauters Group to provide long-term support to luxury brands in the creation of exceptional packaging.
